The average worldwide human life expectancy has nearly doubled in the last few decades to about 66 years. As this number continues to rise, how do our societies cope with a population that can live longer and may have more sustained medical needs?

How Wikipedia around the World defines Aging (add your language)

English: Ageing or aging (American English) is the accumulation of changes in an organism or object over time. Aging in humans refers to a multidimensional process of physical, psychological, and social change.

Spanish (Envejecimiento forwards to Senescencia): In the general sense, and with reference to material systems which have a certain structure or organization, one speaks of senescence when there are changes in the relationships among elements of a system in a time-dependent manner.

Chinese (老龄化): The aging of population means the increase of the part of old people within a certain time in a certain area, a phenomenon known mainly in developed countries, esp. in Europe.

German (Gerontologie): Gerontology, in Germany also Science of Aging, is the science of the aging of man.
