Schedule: Week 5 (July 15 - July 22)
Art Project: 80+1 Kilpisjärvi
School Project: BHAS Rudigierstraße Linz

Situated 1200 kilometers from the Finnish capital, Helsinki, the town of Kilpisjärvi is in the far northwest corner of Finland. The town sits on the border of Finland, Sweden and Norway – many Norwegians come across the border to buy cheaper groceries from the large supermarket. While Kilpisjärvi only has a population of around 100 people, it hosts an international biological research station to monitor meteorological, geographical, and biological changes happening in this sub-arctic region.
